Geology

In the field of geology the Land Board arranges:

• geological mapping at the scale of the Estonian Base Map (1 : 50 000),
• processing of digital information of mineral resources of the Environmental Register,
• maintaining of geological information by organizing the work of the data bank of the engineering geology, depository of geological manuscript reports, and by administering drill-cores.

The Department of Geology is located in Tallinn (Mustamäe tee 51, 10621 Tallinn) and Tartu (Taara pst. 2, 51005, Tartu).
