Geodetic Networks

The National Geodetic Network must assure that the Estonian national mapping is conducted and spatial data is held in a unified coordinate system.

The National Levelling Network provides a unified and accurate height system all over the Estonian territory for geodetic and topographic measurements as well as for scientific research.

The National Gravity Network enables to check and unify with required accuracy the results of the gravimetric works carried out in the past, at present as well as in the future. This enables to use gravimetric data in different tasks like computation of the geoid, adjustment of the high accuracy levelling network, geodynamical research, geological mapping.
