Disruptions in ESTHub’s services

ESTHub's data hub » formerly has provided online the complete time series of Sentinel data over Estonia and the Baltic region. This naturally is a constantly growing amount of data. ESTHub has decided to switch to a rolling archive strategy where the youngest 2 years of data are kept and older data is automatically evicted from the online storage. This applies to all Sentinel product types. The older data remains searchable in the cataloge but will be marked "Offline" in the result list.

Older data can be made available temporarily on request by type, time interval, and region of interest (email to esthub@maaamet.ee). It will be made available on ESTHub's data hub for a period of 10 days for download.

The deletion of older data will start on Friday, 13.03.2020 . After deletion a reorganistion of the archive with short downtimes will happen the week from Monday, 16.03.2020 to Friday, 21.03.2020 . During this time download performance may be lower than usual. After reorganisation the performance will be as before.

Current maintenance works affect only ESTHub’s data hub », older data will remain available in the processing platform ».

If you have problems or questions, please contact esthub@maaamet.ee

We apologise for the inconvenience.
