International cooperation

The Land Board’s international activities aim to strengthen collaboration in the fields of geomatics and land administration with our counterparts in other countries in order to facilitate the development of the European Spatial Data Infrastructure; to contribute to pan-European map products and services; and to participate actively in capacity building and in the exchange of knowledge and best practices in the above-mentioned fields.

International cooperation can be divided into four areas:

  • bilateral cooperation, i.e. between countries
  • regional cooperation, i.e. between the Baltic Sea countries
  • cooperation at EU level
  • pan-European and global cooperation

The Land Board is a reliable cooperation partner and represents Estonia in several international organisations, e.g. EuroGeographics », PCC » and UN-GGIM:Europe ».
